FUE hair transplant · Assessment

Hair is where Vertex Medic began, and where its documented evidence lives. Start with the cause, then the options: transplant surgery, or a plan that needs no surgery at all.

Vertex Medic coordinates the hair journey end to end: the assessment, the consultation, the written quote and the practical side of treatment day and the year after. An independent GMC-registered clinician decides what is suitable and delivers treatment through a regulated partner facility.

§01 Where to start

Start with what you notice.

Ordinary editorial signposting, not a diagnosis. The independent clinician decides what is suitable, and the honest answer is sometimes no surgery at all.

Beyond hair.

Ordinary editorial navigation: nothing here is inferred from your assessment or anything else you have told us.

§05 Common questions

The things people actually ask.

Who carries out the hair transplant?

An independent GMC-registered clinician, through a regulated partner facility identified to you in writing before you book. Vertex Medic coordinates the journey; it does not perform surgery, and the clinician decides whether surgery is right for you.

Do I have to have surgery?

No. The assessment exists to find the cause first, and the honest answer is sometimes medication, or waiting. A clinician who tells you not to have a transplant yet is doing their job.

What does the assessment involve?

Six questions, about sixty seconds, private. It helps the clinician understand what has changed and what you are hoping for; it is not a diagnosis, and nothing about your answers is placed in the address bar or sent to advertising platforms.

How is the price set?

Two fixed procedure sizes, confirmed in writing by the provider at a free consultation before you book. The pricing page explains what a quote covers and what it may not.
