§01 Consultation · Free to ask
Book a consultation.
Hair · Face · Body · Breast
Tell us what you are considering. A real person replies within one working day, then Vertex Medic arranges a consultation with an independent surgeon or registered provider and coordinates the practical side.
Vertex Medic is a booking and coordination platform, not a clinic. The surgeon who would treat you examines you, decides whether a procedure is suitable, explains the alternatives and takes your consent personally.
Free to ask · No obligation · Never a clinical assessment
§02 Three ways to talk
Start with a conversation.
There is no form to fill before you can ask. Choose the way that suits you, and the coordination team takes it from there.
- 01In person
A consultation at the provider's registered premises with the surgeon who would treat you. Vertex arranges the date and tells you what to bring.
- 02Video call
A first conversation with the surgeon's team by video where the provider offers it, before any examination in person.
- 03Not sure yet
A ten-minute call with a person from Vertex Medic to understand what you are considering and what a consultation is for. Nothing is booked unless you ask.
§03 What happens at a consultation
Who decides, and in what order.
From the first consultation, every clinical decision is your surgeon's. Vertex Medic arranges the meeting and keeps the paperwork; it is not in the room.
You meet the surgeon who would carry out the procedure. They take your history, examine you and ask what you hope to change.
They explain what is realistic, the alternatives, the risks and the recovery, and whether they would recommend anything at all. Sometimes the honest answer is nothing.
The provider gives you a written, itemised quote. You take at least two weeks to reflect, and you can change your mind at any point.
If you go ahead, Vertex Medic coordinates the booking on the provider's terms, the paperwork and the dates, and the practical side of the weeks after.

§05 Common questions
The things people actually ask.
Is it free to ask?
Yes. Asking Vertex Medic a question, taking the assessment and having a person call you back costs nothing and carries no obligation. Whether a surgeon charges for a consultation is set by the provider and told to you in writing before you book.
How long does it take?
A first call with the coordination team takes about ten minutes. A consultation with a surgeon is typically 30 to 45 minutes, set by the provider.
Can I bring someone?
Yes. Bringing a partner or a friend is normal, and you can ask for it when the consultation is arranged.
Is it private?
Your details are used to arrange your consultation and to contact you about it. Where treatment is being considered, the information you choose to share is passed securely to the treating clinician and the provider involved in your care, as the privacy policy explains, and never used for marketing without your separate consent.
Do I need to prepare?
Just yourself and your questions. Every procedure page carries a checklist you can copy into your notes. Photographs help and are optional.
§06 When you are ready
Ready when you are.
Send your question and a person replies within one working day. Or email the coordination team directly.
